La Alcaldía de Cuenca informa a la industria turística nacional e internacional y al público en general que, al momento la ciudad de Cuenca - Ecuador se encuentra totalmente accesible ya sea por vía aérea o terrestre, las calles se encuentran libres para el tránsito vehicular y peatonal y sus hoteles, servicios de alimentos y bebidas, atractivos y productos turísticos, funcionan con total normalidad posterior a los días de paro en el país; además, se garantiza la seguridad, limpieza y orden que la han caracterizado siempre.
Cuenca es una ciudad que actualmente cuenta con una amplia oferta hotelera, una arquitectura fascinante en el Centro Histórico y alrededores, un sitio de belleza natural como El Parque Nacional Cajas, actividades de aventura y entre otros atractivos, la mejor gastronomía del país.
Los próximos meses la ciudad celebrará sus Fiestas de Independencia además de los 20 años de la declaratoria como Patrimonio Cultural de la Humanidad según la Unesco y para ello, ofrecerá todo tipo de eventos culturales, artísticos, gastronómicos, artesanales y más, por lo que hacemos un llamado a turistas y visitantes para que visiten esta ciudad andina del Ecuador.
