(Cuenca 26-05-2020) Ante la pandemia del #covid19, el segmento turístico de Bodas y Eventos cambiaron en su totalidad, obligando a trabajar en protocolos internos para nuevamente brindar confianza a los clientes.
Este trabajo empezó con el conversatorio “La industria de bodas y eventos de Cuenca, frente a una nueva realidad”. Carolina Muzo, directora de ABC Ecuador, expuso la necesidad empezar a crear nuevos servicios, porque los eventos se volverán más íntimos, es decir, momentos pequeños, familiares.

(Cuenca 26-05-2020) Due to the #covid19 pandemic, the Wedding and Event tourism segment changed completely, forcing us to work on internal protocols to once again provide reliability to clients.
This work began with the seminar "The wedding and event industry in Cuenca, facing a new reality". Carolina Muzo, director of ABC Ecuador, explained the need to start creating new services, because the events will become more intimate, that is, small, familiar moments.
Muzo, mencionó que este momento, es una gran oportunidad para “en eventos pequeños mostrar el lujo que ofrece Ecuador en el segmento Bodas y Eventos Sociales”.
Por su lado, Esteban Pozo, director ABC Ecuador Zona Austro, anunció que los protocolos para la reapertura del segmento Bodas y Eventos, ya ha sido entregado al Ministerio de Turismo para su revisión. Posterior, desde el COE cantonal de Cuenca, se levantará al Nacional para su aprobación.

For his part, Esteban Pozo, director of ABC Ecuador Austro Zone, announced that the protocols for the reopening of the segment Weddings and Events, has already been delivered to the Ministry of Tourism for review. Subsequently, the Cuenca cantonal COE will submit them to the National Council for approval.
La aplicación de las medidas de bioseguridad será a través de una “Fiesta Piloto” para la respectiva inspección de las autoridades de control, quienes serán los responsables de autorizar o no la reapertura de las actividades de este segmento turístico.

“Aquí estamos presentes y pendientes para apoyar sus propuestas. Cuenca tiene todo para ser un destino de romance y bodas. También estamos convencidos que el sector rural es un gran punto para generar este tipo de eventos. Cuenca debe darse a conocer como ese destino potente de bodas y eventos a nivel mundial”, manifestó María Angélica León, directora ejecutiva de la Fundación Municipal Turismo para Cuenca.

El conversatorio organizado por ANDHER CORP y el apoyo de la Fundación Municipal Turismo para Cuenca, continuará este día miércoles 27 con el tema “Asesoramiento laboral y legal para propietario de negocios de eventos”, el jueves 28 con el tema ¿Se debería reinventar las bodas? Y el viernes 29 con el tema “Resiliencia y Reinvención en tiempos de crisis”.
