WORLD SCENARIOS
The XIV edition of the Scenarios del Mundo International Performing Arts Festival will take place in the city of Cuenca in a reduced face-to-face format, and online format, from October 28 to November 15, 2020. World Scenarios platform of high artistic quality, will present the most representative exponents of current local, national and international theater, chosen for the excellence and diversity of their proposals and that make up a panoramic set of various styles, languages, genres; ranging from gestural theater, text, through fusions of circus, dance, clown, music, performance, children's theater and multimedia.

Individual ticket: 10 dollars, per face-to-face work. In addition, you will be able to access a virtual function.
- Under 25 years old, special rate: $ 6, per face-to-face work, plus a virtual one.
- Payment of 20 dollars: three face-to-face functions, plus five virtual works.

Female Anthology is a work that was born in the classrooms of the Faculty of Arts of the University of Cuenca. The work is directed by one of the authorities of the Faculty and carried out by students on behalf of the same.
"Case 29: The shadow of a man" by Isidora Gazmuri. A detective seeks to solve a femicide. On a journey into the unconscious, he interrogates the crime victim, finding something he would never expect.
Las Aventuras del Quijote, is a play with puppets, which was made as part of the Shakespeare + Cervantes Experience, produced by the Teatro Colón in Bogotá; was part of the Colón Itinerante project in 2016, visiting more than 50 municipalities in Colombia
The Inventor is the first one-man show of the actor and playwright Antonio Harris, a member of the group Clowndestinos, A Work of Experimentation. The play revolves around an unknown inventor who presents his wonderful invention, waiting for the recognition of the public that makes him feel great.
The voices of the grandparents, the riddles, the enigmas and the scares, have been reinvented in this journey of words, together with Teatro Barojo. The city has been full of stories and characters that have been the oral memory of many generations.
As its title indicates, this show by La Chana Teatro is just that, a daring one. Tackling a classic like the Odyssey already seems quite daring. You will see history taken to the theater of objects, without a table, without a net, bare-chested, building the spaces with balustrades, gutting the hero, recreating himself in his contradictions, in his hardships, in the search for himself.
Toy Theater presents its own version of the play "Hamlet". They will represent the most well-known scenes of the play: the appearance of the ghost of Hamlet's father, the assembly of the mousetrap to make the king confess, Ophelia's madness, the duel with Laertes and the great monologue. All treated with humor and using all the resources available to them in a creative and fun way.
Cuenca en Cuentos I, authored and researched by the artist Piotr Zalamea Zielinski, was published by the Municipality of Cuenca and applied as a play in historical, cultural and tourist areas.
