Cajas National Park

Cajas National Park is the most important natural area of the destination. Its more than 235 lagoons and a thousand bodies of water, allow you to live experiences of another world, walk among moors, paper forests, discover native flora and fauna, fish in rivers, climb on rocks and if the day allows it, camp in their grasslands to admire the most fascinating starry nights.

How to get?

Does it arrive very fast?

In your car: from the Historic Center, drive 19.5 km along the Cuenca - Molleturo - Naranjal road. In approximately 35 minutes you will be in the parking lot of La Toreadora, the main lagoon of the park.

By bus: at the Cooperativa de Transporte Occidental, take from the Free Fair from 07:00 to 14:45 and from the Terrestrial Terminal from 07:00 to 14:30. The cost of the ticket is $ 2.00 to “La Toreadora”.

Return: after your visit you can take any bus that goes to the city of Cuenca
